About Us

Tarpon ParadeEros Chapter 356 is based in New Port Richey in Pasco County, Fl. We are one of the largest and most active chapters of the Daughters of Penelope in Florida, part of the  Citrus #2 District. We have over 60 members and take part in  a  full program of social, civic and fund-raising activites.

Our calendar runs from September to May each year.  We hold monthly meetings on the 2nd Monday of each month, as well as social events and outings during the year.

We actively fund raise throughout  the year. We hold 3 Bingo evenings a year as fundraisers for our Scholarship Fund which provides up to 3 scholarships of $1000 to local high school and college students. Our main annual fundraiser for the last few years has been OPA!- Party with the Greeks. Keep in touch to find out what this year’s fundraiser will be!

We support many local non-profit and charitable organizations with donations of money, time and goods. Many of our members are actively involved in volunteer work in the local community.

We support the Daughters of Penelope national projects, and send delegates to District and National conventions.

We take part in  civic functions in West Pasco and received a nomination from West Pasco Chamber of Commerce in 2012 in the Service Organisation category.
